Jannis ♥ to Bake.

I enjoy cooking. Thus, I sort of love baking too. Recently I just picked up this expensive hobby. Costly in the sense that I just started learning. Erm... is it correct to say that? I only had 2 or 3 baking classes in my secondary school learning, and GOODNESS! That was more that 15 yrs back! ←_← Thus, I bought premix cake and cookies mix which actually cost a few bucks more than the original plain flour and a bottle of baking powder which can be used many times.

And not to forget, investing in an oven. & the icing tips, cupcakes pans & liners, baking sheets... etc...

And through this, I realised that butter isn't cheap any more. What else, the icing sugar. It's not about the price, but the sweetness. I need to search for a recipe that doesn't taste as sweet. Did some online recipe search and find that cream cheese frosting can be not that sweet. ↖(^▽^)↗ will try this out this weekend.

About icing tip, I recently bought a cheap icing syringe set from qoo10.sg. Seller is Online Mart. Well, not a pleasant experience, the syringe I received has a crackline. Q_Q I like the nozzles set since they are big tips size. However the crack is hindering me from piping. Filled with water and it leaked from the crack. Of cos it will, but I need prove. Very disappointing that Online Mart doesn't reply online, and I need to wait for it again....

I should have invest in a proper icing nozzles. Money does matters after all. Forget about icing syringe if I couldn't get a replacement. I'll head straight to the more reliable Phoon Huat. Or eBay. More options.ˋ︿ˊ
