Minions.

Just when I thought my minions craze is over.... It's actually, not. I've got my full set of McDonald's collectible of Despiciable Me 2, finally!

Hahahha!!! just being childish to play with these toys. Oh yes, I'm having this childish me still inside me. :p

Baking again on my weekends.

Hi there, I am baking again. This time on gingerbread cupcakes with matcha frosting.

Well, I tasted the matcha frosting, it is yummy! The recipe I used is based on Marry Berry's Lemon Icing. I had substitute the lemon juice with 2 tbsp cold water, & added in 2 tsp matcha & 2 tsp vanilla extract. What I worried is the cupcake. Will write in soon after I eaten... -.-;

Matcha cupcake w/ Peanut butter frosting. Yes, this is yummy. Except that I had overbake the cupcakes. TAT!!! Anyway, it's ok since the peanut butter frosting is too good! Recipe is from Betty crocker® peanut butter frosting. I used margarine & no milk & vanilla extract. It was absolutely delicious. ♥.♥ As for cupcakes I adapted from plain cupcakes recipe & just added in matcha. No use of butter, I used vegetable oil. If I didn't overbake them, should be moist & matcha enough. T..T;

Hmm... I encountered failures in my bakings. But I still love to bake. Jannis ♥ to bake!

I enjoy cooking. Thus, I sort of love baking too. Recently I just picked up this expensive hobby. Costly in the sense that I just started learning. Erm... is it correct to say that? I only had 2 or 3 baking classes in my secondary school learning, and GOODNESS! That was more that 15 yrs back! ←_← Thus, I bought premix cake and cookies mix which actually cost a few bucks more than the original plain flour and a bottle of baking powder which can be used many times.

And not to forget, investing in an oven. & the icing tips, cupcakes pans & liners, baking sheets... etc...

And through this, I realised that butter isn't cheap any more. What else, the icing sugar. It's not about the price, but the sweetness. I need to search for a recipe that doesn't taste as sweet. Did some online recipe search and find that cream cheese frosting can be not that sweet. ↖(^▽^)↗ will try this out this weekend.

About icing tip, I recently bought a cheap icing syringe set from qoo10.sg. Seller is Online Mart. Well, not a pleasant experience, the syringe I received has a crackline. Q_Q I like the nozzles set since they are big tips size. However the crack is hindering me from piping. Filled with water and it leaked from the crack. Of cos it will, but I need prove. Very disappointing that Online Mart doesn't reply online, and I need to wait for it again....

I should have invest in a proper icing nozzles. Money does matters after all. Forget about icing syringe if I couldn't get a replacement. I'll head straight to the more reliable Phoon Huat. Or eBay. More options.ˋ︿ˊ

Well, was attempting to upload this entry through SGN10.1. ... Seems like it couldn't upload any of my fanarts. Maybe, it could be the file size problem? Not sure, so I am now using Chrome and hopefully it is the browser problem.

Currently, I'm working on one that I personally find it very adorable. Adapted from someone who created Dave, I think, suffering from a Monday Blue. Do stay tune if u like Minions. :p

Hi there,

It's been such a long time I last wrote in. Again, the habit of blogging is no longer there. Maybe because I have matured. I am no longer a youngster, a teenager, a 20yrs old. I've aged. Dun see the need to report in everyday.

Well, that doesn't mean I am sad, not happy since this is supposed to be my Happy Diary. Perhaps yes, I'm tired after work, and don't see the need to report here. Oh, FB, another distraction keeping me away. Lol... Life is so full of amusement.

Hmm... whether happy or not, I think it's not important. I need to make use of my remaining time to spend my every day meaningful. I mean, rather than complaining, I should try to turn these negative thoughts into positive aura that empower me. Yes, despite it is tough, I should try.

Celebration with Luna Sea.

Hey Hey!!! I am so excited and anticipated towards Friday. Not because CNY is coming, anyway, I am not excited about CNY at all. After all, the past 30 yrs down the road, CNY seems to be getting bore, bored, and boring. Yes, no doubt the Ang Baos are the motivation to get along during CNY days... But this year, 2013 is SO different. I am going for a concert.

Oh well, most of you will think, what is the big deal about going to a concert days before the CNY? Or well, I had been doing that almost every year. Or, I am away for holiday, even better. Ok, but it won't be the same if you are a J-pop fan like me! ^_^ (To be frank, I am also a K-pop supporter.)

Yup! The End of The Dream. Luna Sea 2013 Asia Tour. Finally the wait is over. After having a giraffe neck for waiting L'arc-en-ciel who really made their arrival in 2012, Luna Sea is here! Felt like dreams are slowly fulfilling.

Yes, 2 more days. And after tomorrow, is the day! Woo Hoo! I would like to thank my new friends Evelyn & Ariel for making my presence in the concert. W/o them, I don't think I can be there.

Oh, and Lihui! My buddy whom intro me to the Jap Music universe. :D From there, I branched out reaching L'arc-en-ciel, Luna Sea, D.A.I., ... ..., AKB48.
